Guideline document that covers the important issue of data preparation and usage in water resources modelling. This needs to be read in conjunction with the other modelling related guideline documents. In many countries, gathering data from across sectors is not easy. Additionally, the quality of data is often not questionned until it is used... particularly in a modelling situation where problems are often encountered during the calibration process.
