AN1.7 Designing a Water Quality Monitoring Programme
Guide related to the identification of data requirements to support water quality modelling in a local level situation. Water quality issues fall under the remit of a number of organisations so that it is important to involve other parties in the monitoring programme design. Multiple organisations sharing monitoring can reduce costs. This document does not cover water quality sampling procedures, but describes the process of determining what monitoring is required with a strong focus on simple water quality modelling.
