EG2.6 Conjunctive Use
Conjunctive use of water is the coordinated management of both surface water and groundwater for water supply. A conjunctive use approach will be practised in the oasis area downstream of the Hongyashan reservoir in Minqin County in Gansu Province. This Example provides an overview of the river basin master plan related to the oasis are in Minqin. It also provides detail on the planned technical approach used in the future implementation and management of the conjunctive use scheme.
