Personnel - Jan van Wonderen
Biog: Mr van Wonderen is a Divisional Director of the Water and Environmental Management Division. He has over 30 years' experience in a wide variety of groundwater resource evaluation and management aspects. He has specialised in the development and application of groundwater modelling software and been responsible for the in-house development of integrated finite difference, finite element, integrated catchment and pollution models. He has been personally involved in over 50 modelling studies in the UK and overseas, and has prepared many technical papers on the application of modelling techniques to groundwater development.

Specialisation: Groundwater management, groundwater modelling, groundwater monitoring and evaluation systems and instrumentation, groundwater engineering, groundwater irrigation and the use of GIS in various situations. Over the years has also become involved in local level participation in groundwater management. Has alos skills and knowledge of broader water resources planning.
